Olde Hope Farm news break!:
Abigail Horah jumped a double clear with Snapple and will move up a level at her next event. Yahoo!

Jacob Horah rode two horses and had a good day! Ann jumped a double clear at her first event and Hawk did his first novice horse trials. We'll be practicing the cross country to improve his performance!

Surefire and Julia Gloviczki jumped a double clear at Waredaca HT in the preliminary division. Next is Intermediate at Plantation Field June 11. Go Julia! Go Sparks! Intermediate!

Jacob Horah won a blue ribbon at Olde Hope Farms HT in the elementary division! Yahoo for Hawk and Jacob! Luke Horah got his new saddle and earned a 41.2 with his dressage at the novice level, went clean sj, and then lost a fence x-c. We'll see these two eventors this weekend at the starter ht! Great summer fun.

Summer Working Student Alert!
Eventors! Come ride, train, and compete with Jane Sleeper this summer! We're doing many cross country schoolings, jumper shows, starter events and yes! those big recognized events in Area II. Great opportunity to learn, ride other horses, work and compete with a successful event stable!

Young Event Horses:
We have four Young Event Horses competing in the Young Event Horse Competitions this summer! Two are Irishbred and two are five year olds by Riverman out of TB mares. Learn how we do it!
Come meet New Moon, known as Morris to his friends & fans! He was the 2004 Young Event Horse Reserve Champion at Radnor CCI**. How did he do it?? Will he put you under his spell? He loves his fans! We can help you train your young horse to grow up great!

Pony Club News!
This past weekend we had a slew of Pony Clubbers rate up!
Congratulations to Jacob Horah D-2, Emily Schmidt D-3, Luke Horah C-1! Now it's on to the Rallies and let's qualify for the Nationals!!

Summer 2004 was Great for Students

Julia Gloviczki and Surefire caps off her successful working student
summer by winning the GMHA YOP in Vermont September 18-19. Yahoo to Julia and Sparks! Good luck with your studies at UVM- and Marsha Zebley and Bubba are joining Julia at UVM this year. Study hard and we'll see you next summer!! And I know we'll hear about the ski slopes up North!

2003 Successful Season for Students

It was a busy summer 2003 and fall for all of us, including our students. We take great pride in their growth and are constantly inspired by their energy. Shown above, is Ashley Defermo, 14 yo working student, riding Puff Dragon while warming up for their clean stadium round at Flora Lea HT in Medford, NJ.

Julia Gloviczki (above), from Rochester, MN and her horse Surefire are shown competing at the Stuart HT in Stuart NY July 25-27. They jumped clean x-c and had an exciting show jumping round!

Another of our students, Danielle Feiner and The Cob completed the YROP at the Stuart HT competition.
